Central Mass Striders (CMS) is the region's volunteer-run RRCA club, covering Worcester and out to Leominster and Holden. Its year-round anchor is the CMS Saturday 5K — 9:00 AM every Saturday, rain or shine, all year, starting and finishing in front of Worcester State University, with cash-or-check registration from 8:15 AM (a few dollars for members, $5 otherwise, and a 10K option every third Saturday). The club also runs a summer race series, Sunday long runs, and weekday group runs whose days and times it is currently re-surveying members on; check the club's socials for those.

November Project Worcester

Worcester's free, all-levels tribe of the November Project fitness movement — no membership, no fee, just show up. Wednesday mornings bring two waves, 5:20 and 6:20 AM, at the stadium at Fitton Field on the College of the Holy Cross campus (the Worcester Common Oval in winter); Fridays are 6:00 AM hill repeats at Green Hill Park (Bancroft Tower in winter). Everyone is welcome regardless of pace.
