Derby City Run Club
Next run · Mon, Sep 21 · 6:30 PM
Louisville's biggest social run club, founded in September 2013 to "promote fitness, friends, and community" — a free 5K-ish run three nights a week at 6:30 PM, each from a different host brewery, with drink specials and food afterwards. Membership is free, every pace is welcome (walkers included) and dogs are encouraged. The hosts change — the Monday taproom on Bardstown Road that everyone still calls Great Flood rebranded as Big Rock Bar & Brew in 2026 — so check the club's Instagram for this week's start spots before you head out.

Louisville Race Club
"Run as you are" is the motto: a twice-monthly social run-or-walk from Gravely Brewing Co. on Baxter Avenue, the first and third Saturday of the month, with one-mile and three-mile route options and a discounted beer afterwards. Runners and walkers of all paces, ages and backgrounds are welcome, strollers and dogs included. The start moves earlier in summer to beat the heat (the listings say 11:00 AM gather / 11:15 AM start most of the year and 8:00 AM in summer), so confirm the time on the club's Instagram.
