A free East Austin group with a "zero-drop" rule — a Wednesday 6:30 PM road run from Central Machine Works brewery, and an easy trail run on Sunday mornings. Beers at the brewery after the Wednesday run.

The Austin chapter of the free November Project fitness movement — a bodyweight-and-stairs workout open to everyone, no registration (a waiver is required). Wednesdays at 6 AM at Waterloo Park; Fridays at 6 AM at Butler District Park, with the Friday location rotating.

Coach Al Cumming's free group runs five days a week around Austin: early-morning "Jerie's Kids" distance runs from The Rock on Monday and Thursday, the "Mansion Run" in Northwest Hills, Tuesday track at O. Henry Middle School, and a Saturday long run from Brent Grulke Plaza. All paces from about 7 to 12 minutes per mile.

A no-drop, all-paces group led by Kyle Jones. The Wednesday 6 PM run is an easy ~4-mile crushed-granite loop from The Rock on Town Lake; the Sunday 7 AM road run leaves from The Loop's Hyde Park store. Free, with monthly Wednesday runs rotating to breweries like Hold Out and Banger's.
